Collection: Kliszewski Glass

Bob and Laurie Kliss are the husband-and-wife team behind Kliszewski Glass, known for their whimsical, sculptural glasswork that blends expert craftsmanship with vibrant personality.

Based in Fresno, California, the duo has been collaborating as glass artists since the early 1990s. Bob, a self-taught glass artist, began slumping and fusing glass in 1986 and founded Kliszewski Glass in 1994. He has refined his techniques through workshops at Pilchuck Glass School and Cal Poly San Luis Obispo, as well as through teaching and live demonstrations throughout California. Laurie joined the studio full-time after a career in graphic design and marketing, bringing a sharp eye for detail and presentation to their work.

Together, they create blown and fused glass pieces—colorful, character-driven forms with a playful yet refined aesthetic. Every piece is designed and produced in their Fresno studio, with Laurie also leading the studio’s visual identity and customer-facing presence.

Their work has been exhibited nationally, including in California Design 2000, Glass in Bloom, and Hot & Cool: Contemporary Glass, and shown at venues such as the Fresno Art Museum, Ontario International Airport, and Philabaum Contemporary Art Glass Gallery. They are Niche Award winners and have received honors from the Sausalito, La Quinta, and Scottsdale Arts Festivals.

Their glasswork is part of private and corporate collections across the U.S., including Crayola, Oracle, the Walt Disney Corporation, and Matrix Hair Care. Their work has also been featured in American Style, Glass Art Magazine, Crafts Report, and Glass Craftsman.
