Each piece of glass is hand cut and formed from large sheets, decorated with liquid glass frit, dichroic glass, enamel paints and then fired in a kiln to 1450F to melt together and become one single piece. Her exquisite use of color and comical flair of her subject matter is what sets her work apart in the world of glass art. Cynthia has made many different designs over the years but has settled into the world of fish. Her steel wrapped fish have their big copyrighted round eyes that are easy to spot. Each one is unique and is signed on the back with the SLG marking.
Large size fish are approximately 14" x 7".
