If you’ve been to Moonstone Beach down the road in Matunuck, RI, you know it’s famous for (among other things) the millions of smooth stones that pepper the beach. After years of being tumbled by the waves, pushed and pulled through the sand, all the once rough edges of those little stones have been worn smooth. The years wear away at us, too, don’t they? We’ve all been tumbled by life at times. But it doesn’t destroy us. It polishes us. It wears down those awkward edges, peels away layers and reveals glimpses of who we are at our cores. Our glass Moonstones are irregular, each unique, with layers of texture and color around a deep, true core.
They measure about 4" wide and 2.5" high.
