A new creation from artist Jennifer Nauck. In creating these vases, Nauck beautifully executes the Italian technique of Encalmo. The name, in Venetian dialect literally means “graft” as in joining two parts. Two hot pieces of glass become one. The flattened vase measures 16" tall x 9" wide x 4" depth. Pieces in the Encalmo series are named for women Venetian glassblowers as a nod to the technique's origins.
